Job Responsibilities

  • Assist driver to pick up / drop off client/s at designated pick up point for kerb to kerb transfer.
  • Escort client for door to door service.
  • Opening / Closing of back door only when surrounding is cleared, for safety reasons.
  • Ensure client’s safety during loading and unloading while on the lifter platform
  • Lifter should come to a complete halt on the same level with vehicle platform before transferring.
  • Ensure the safety of the wheel chair client is fastened with the seat belt at all times during the transfer, in and out of the vehicle.
  • Ensure ambulant passenger has the safety seat belt on at all times in the vehicle.
  • Ensure wheel chair is properly clamped by Q’STRAINT belt to at least 3 critical points of the wheel chair.
  • Ensure client/s are not unattended, until proper hand over is done.
  • Assist client to a safety waiting area while waiting for the vehicle to stop at the pickup / drop off point.
  • Assist to inform client / next of kin (NOK) on any update/s on any lateness or other reasons.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by Reporting Officer when required.

 

Job Requirements

  • Min N Level
  • Able to communicate simple English
  • Min 1 year relevant experience
