Senior/Pharmacist
Job Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of daily operational and administrative functions to ensure smooth, efficient, and compliant hospital operations
- Carry out assigned duties in accordance with established hospital policies, procedures, clinical governance standards, and regulatory requirements
- Identify, assess, and manage potential operational, clinical, financial, and compliance risks within the scope of the role
- Each staff is aware of and responsible for recognising potential risks related to their role and supporting Ren Ci Hospital’s efforts to manage those risks effectively
- Adhere to internal controls, safety protocols, and risk mitigation measures to minimize incidents and service disruptions
- Promptly report incidents, near‑misses, hazards, or compliance concerns and participate in corrective and preventive actions
- Support hospital‑wide risk management initiatives, audits, inspections, and quality improvement activities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to ensure risk awareness and control measures are consistently applied
- Maintain accurate documentation and records in line with governance and accountability requirements
- Contribute to continuous improvement by recommending process enhancements to strengthen safety, efficiency, and compliance
- Promote a culture of professionalism, accountability, patient safety, and risk awareness in all work activities
Job Requirements
- Possess a Degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institution
- Registered with the Singapore Pharmacy Council (SPC) with a valid patient‑care practising certificate
- Candidates with prior experience in hospital, clinical, or retail pharmacy settings are preferred
- Demonstrate strong clinical knowledge and sound understanding of drugs, therapeutics, and pharmacy practice
- Exhibit a life‑long learning attitude and commitment to continuous professional development
- Meticulous and well‑organized, with good decision‑making abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage patients, caregivers, and healthcare teams
- Capable of problem‑solving and conflict resolution in a professional healthcare environment
- Possess supervisory and mentoring skills to guide junior staff and support team development
