Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the strategic planning, implementation and evaluation of staff wellbeing and engagement initiatives aligned with Ren Ci Hospital’s priorities.
  • Lead Organisational Development (OD) programmes and apply OD principles and approaches to translate Ren Ci’s values into clear systems, practices, leadership behaviours and staff experiences.
  • Lead staff wellbeing development and strengthen staff engagement to promote staff retention and sense of belonging.
  • Profile the organisation and staff to recognise achievements and to enhance staff attraction.
  • Support the HR Director on matters from management reporting, paper writing, policy review and project execution.

 

Wellbeing Development

  • Work with the HR Director and key stakeholders to develop and implement organisation-wide staff wellbeing strategies which are aligned to Ren Ci’s strategic objectives for Care and Joy @ Work and referencing to MOH's Staff Wellbeing Framework.
  • Translate wellbeing strategies into practical policies, programmes, activities and campaigns that are relevant and accessible to staff.
  • Design and roll out initiatives that promote physical health, mental wellbeing, stress management and work-life harmony.
  • Partner HR teams, internal partners and external vendors to deliver programmes effectively.
  • Manage wellbeing budget and the day-to-day planning, coordination and delivery of wellbeing initiative.
  • Engage departments, staff representatives and leaders to encourage participation and ownership of wellbeing initiatives.
  • Serve as the HR point-of-contact for wellbeing-related matters across the organisation.
  • Communicate wellbeing initiatives clearly and empathetically to staff.
  • Track programme participation, staff feedback and wellbeing indicators.
  • Prepare regular updates and reports for the HR Director and management. Use feedback and insights to refine and improve wellbeing programmes.
  • Coordinate and lead the submission of wellbeing awards, including data gathering, write-ups and supporting documentation.
  • Participate in award presentations, site visits or interviews where required.

Organisational Development

  • Leverage on OD framework, principles and approaches to embed Ren Ci core values in operational structures and practices in the workplace.
  • Lead OD programmes that support leadership development, team effectiveness and organisational resilience.
  • Support leaders at all levels to create a positive work environment, promote an inclusive workplace culture, and foster a culture of care, respect, gratitude and teamwork.
  • Cultivate a group of change champions to support service transformation and change management.
  • Evaluate the impact of OD initiatives and continuously improve delivery.

 

Staff Engagement

  • Develop and implement staff engagement strategies that strengthen staff morale, sense of belonging and connection to Ren Ci’s mission.
  • Plan, administer and analyse organisation wide Staff Engagement Surveys, pulse checks and focus groups.
  • Translate engagement insights. Gather and analyse feedback through surveys, focus groups, and other feedback mechanisms to identify areas for improvement and track engagement trends.
  • Track key metrics like staff retention, participation in engagement initiatives, and overall satisfaction scores to measure the effectiveness of engagement efforts.
  • Keep informed about industry best practices and emerging trends staff engagement.
  • Any other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • At least a Bachelor’s Degree. Preferably in Sciences, Psychology or Human Resources.
  • At least eight years of relevant experience in staff wellbeing and/or promoting staff engagement.
  • Experience in developing HR matrix and/or dashboard is an advantage.
  • Meticulous to details, organised and have the resilience to meet strict deadlines to deliver on time.
  • Strong interpersonal, written communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide insights for decision making. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Good team player and professional at all times.
