Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities

To carry out maintenance of all Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) system and Bio-medical equipment related to the Facility Management
-
Responsible for all M&E works eg. Air-conditioning, Lifts, Electrical works and Fire Protection system, and the Sanitary & Plumbing works and building maintenance
-
Responsible for the upkeep of biomedical equipment including wards equipment, wheelchairs and geriatric chairs
-
Carries out in-house preventive maintenance (PM) for M&E system and Bio-medical equipment according to PM schedule

Performs trouble-shooting and corrective maintenance (CM)

Carries out installation of fixtures or replacement works required by the Facility Management
-
Supervises installation / renovation / replacement works on facilities and equipment which are carried out by vendors / contractors and ensures all works are carried out in accordance with the contract

Ensures proper documentation such as inspection and test records of all maintenance, repair and service activities

Assists the Supervisor in the collection of data related to the Facility Management as and when required

Liaises with all functional department concerning maintenance matters

Collaborates with team members to ensure the Facility Management’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met

Supports and guides new technicians in routine functions

Escalates complex problems and issues to the Supervisor

Performs any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor
Job Requirements
Requirements
-
Possesses at least NITEC course in Electrical, Air Conditioning, Mechanical, Building Services or equivalent
-
Preferably with 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity
-
Knowledge of PC skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
-
Organized, meticulous, resourceful, proactive and take initiatives at work
-
Able to work well independently as well as in a team
