Job Responsibilities

BROAD FUNCTION

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the team and ensure the smooth operation and execution of Ren Ci’s fundraising activities.
  • Support the Senior Manager, Fundraising & Partnerships (FP) in devising new fundraising initiatives and the planning of fundraising activities.

 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Adhere to the organisation’s ethical standards and guidelines, handling donations with honesty and integrity.
  • Stay informed about fundraising regulations and ensure adherence.
  • Plan, execute, and support fundraising initiatives and events, contributing to the development and implementation of effective fundraising strategies.
  • Identify, cultivate, and steward relationships with donors and partners to strengthen engagement and support for the hospital.
  • Prepare proposals and presentation materials to support fundraising efforts, stakeholder engagement and meetings.
  • Support the smooth functioning of daily operations through a range of administrative duties such as writing of minutes, apply/renew license, membership, agreement, filing, handle email/walk-in enquiries, appeal/thank you letters, requisite and control of office supplies, charity certificate, tokens, in-kind donations etc. and office management.
  • Review and update Fundraising Policies & Procedures and Work Instructions.
  • Promote awareness of organisation’s causes and execute community engagement strategies.
  • Oversee the management, operations and administrative tasks of donation boxes.
  • Support and respond to donor inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
  • Assist in generating reports on fundraising activities, compile data and assist in analysing trends for reporting purposes.
  • Events and projects may be conducted at after-office hours, weekends and Public Holidays.
  • Undertake any other duties as and when assigned by HOD.

Job Requirements

  • A recognised diploma/degree, preferably in Marketing, Business Administration, Public Relations or related field.
  • Practical knowledge of hospital operations and experience in event management.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish good working rapport with people from all levels.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English, preferably with ability to read/speak Mandarin and dialects.
  • Positive attitude with good problem-solving abilities.
  • Organised, meticulous, resourceful and proactive.
  • Able to work well under pressure, independently and in a team.
  • Highly competent in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio & Outlook.
  • Class 3 license.
