Executive, Clinical Operations (Admissions & Bed Management Unit)
Job Responsibilities

Develop and maintain effective relationships with existing and prospective referring institutions to ensure ongoing referrals to the organisation.

Retrieve and process referrals to assess for eligibility by reviewing medical and nursing needs.

Ensure referrals are processed for acceptance consideration within 1 working day.

Liaise with Medical Social Workers and Nurses when processing referrals from Nursing Homes (NH) and Chronic Sick Unit (CSU) and referring institutions.

Assign beds, communicate admission information (ward, bed and time of transfer) to the referring institution, and follow through to ensure actualisation of admission.

Liaise with Nursing Home administrative teams, Business Office and Nursing team to facilitate the admission process.

Closely monitor impending discharges to ensure efficient forward planning of admissions.

Ensure relevant data is collected accurately daily to support the regular evaluation of performance indicators.

Timely preparation and submission of reports to MOH and regulatory authorities.

Job Requirements

- Degree or Diploma in Healthcare or Social Service courses preferred
- At least 3 years of working experience within the healthcare or social care sectors.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to work effectively as an individual, and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills, highly organised and meticulous.
- Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
