Assistant Manager, Finance
Job Responsibilities
- To report monthly and yearly financial results
- To lead General Ledger, Accounts Receivable and Fixed Asset accounting functions
- Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Ensure accurate submission of quarterly GST returns.
- General Ledger Management:
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of the general ledger
- Accounts Receivable and Donations:
- Oversee AR and donation functions
- Fixed Assets Management:
- Oversee recognition, tracking, and management of fixed assets and related capital grants
- Closing Processes:
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
- Coordinate with external and internal auditors
- Prepare and present quarterly financial results to the Audit Committee
- Involve in system enhancement/migration
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Undertake any other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy or Finance
- At least five years of relevant experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Words, Outlook and Accounting software, preferable with SAP experience.
- Self-starter, highly motivated, meticulous & able to work independently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills to communicate across departments and senior management.
